After five years of good and loyal service, the Ferrari 458 prepares to pass the relay incompetition to the new 488 GTB, the arrival on the circuit is programmed by 2016across the Atlantic for a first appearance in the GT3 category in 2017.
The Risi Competizione team which defends the colours of the trademark horseforcene in Championship Tudor USSC, indeed began the development of the new 488GTB to align in competition in 2016 in the category GT Le Mans (GTE). GiancarloFisichella completed the first laps in the seat the week in Italy, and its development isexpected to accelerate from November on American soil, the idea is to be ready forthe launch of the American season set at the 24 hours of Daytona early 2016.
On this side of the Atlantic Ferrari would be also a version GT3 of its new cut, whosearrival would meanwhile scheduled for 2017. Facing the new Huracán, Mercedes-AMGGT and other BMW M6 GT3, Ferrari would replace the aging 458 to give himself everychance to shine in a category which is currently among the most competitive in motorsport. Finally according to the information reported by TopGear, the arrival of this 488GT3 would be preceded by a 'Challenge' version for the expensive single events to thetransalpine constructor.
